The eco-friendly design of The Johnson and Johnson Olympic Games Pavilion is a tribute to a greener, healthier world. The Pavilion features nearly 1,500 square meters of bamboo imported from the southern city of Anji in China. By shrouding the exterior walls in bamboo, designers have created a sustainable, passive cooling system. Together, the structure and its surrounding landscape will use plant material and water features to provide a cool, green oasis and soothing microclimate within the Olympic Green.
